Dear Beloved Rasool Allah,
A safety you provided, meeting everyone where they are, Come beggar, come irreverant, come ignorant, come all.
Urinating in your masjid, shouting you down,
You endured it all, without the hint of a frown.
Knowing who from the Ummah was hypocrite inside, but acting in a way, so nobody knew who was on which side.
You are my hope, you are my dream,
But you are still the one I’ve never seen.
Increase in salawaat, is what I’m told,
help me, my saviour, so in my heart it takes hold.
You are our pillar, you are our guide,
You are the Beloved, I need to feel inside.
Take me with you,
